I survived both of my flights on Spirit this past weekend. I think they were just fine in my exit row seat, a checked bag and my boarding pass on hand. I had a great meeting with my client in Philadelphia, an awesome suite upgrade and breakfast/lunch at the Doubletree downtown, a fantastic chat with blog reader Sam over drinks, some walking around a city I liked a lot and the best hummus I ever had at Zahav restaurant (thanks blog reader Gary!). And you know I like hummus!

Lets get this party blog post started!

Comparison and Summary of Air Credit Policies of Premium Credit Cards. I despise the name of this blog….I mean, couldn’t they make it more obvious? But a good reference post. I like reference posts, they are educational.

All the ways you can spend your annual $300 Chase Sapphire Reserve credit. Of course you went out of your way to apply for the card with my links! #hint #blameJetBlue

Have you heard of Drop? It is a Canadian app and it is coming to the US. You earn points and claim gift cards to use at retailers. Sounds like we have been here before…It focuses on millennials and “instant gratification”. The CEO made this statement which I found interesting…

“It makes no sense for brands to continue to build their own [loyalty program] and we think it’s time for a consolidated program to bring together all the rewards and loyalty programs into one platform. In turn, we’ll allow marketers to target these people.”

A ridiculous headline but the post does bring up how “authentic” and “experiential” is changing the lodging industry: Wealthy Americans have a new attitude about traveling — and it should terrify hotel chains

Classroom Cold Open. Brilliantly hilarious SNL parody about, well, Trump retweeting.

Screw this blogging, I will never become a (good) Titan! I am going to get in early on this! It’s teledildonics! WTF is that? It’s, please sit down first, “…adult-pleasure companies and tech start-ups have developed a number of sex toys that connect to wireless networks, creating a nascent industry known as “teledildonics”.  Please do NOT tell Emily #joking. You never read stuff like this in the boring Titan blogs!

If Making Money is Easy, Why Aren’t We All Rich? Yeah, really…Maybe the problem is…you human!

I stopped using Mint years ago. Looks like things have gotten worse. WTF!

  1. Thanks for this Monday post. I am glad you had a great weekend in Philadelphia. Next time, PHL DO!

Also, good to hear you decided to chose the doubletree and had a good experience, that hotel is always a gem.

    Beers,

    1. Not sure when I will return but I did like the feel of the city.

Not sure DT is a gem. Loved the suite but I had to pull some strings to get it as initial room was beyond underwhelming. The breakfast is great, omelets, good selection and service and huge room with big glass windows and view. But elevators and front lobby can get extremely busy, wow!

  2. That dude taking care of his minor burn should probably extinguish the fire in the background??

  3. TBB Inc revenue in December 2016: 50 cents.

    WTF!

I think I will take on paragliding as my next hobby…basket weaving just does not do it for me…

    1. I’m not sure you saw my comment on Friday’s post, but I got the SPG Business Amex from your link on Friday. So that should help the Revenue…

Also, not sure how Amazon works for you, but I had a $300+ purchase about a week ago.

      1. Thanks, I saw the SPG Business Amex, has not paid out yet. And I remember the $300+ Amazon purchase…got me to close November at $149.25.
When the multi zero buy out offer comes I’ll take care of you for all the support.
I really can’t believe I am still doing this after all this time!

    1. Just imagine…

      Teledildoing
      Sex dolls
      Organic weed
      Virtual Reality

Whoever can combine 3 out of 4 above….will make it so huge that it will make travel rewards credit card pimping look like amateurish stuff!!

    1. I think there is something in the water in that neighborhood.

Do not believe the Greek minister of marxistFinance. Onlyna few real reforms have happened….and if iwasnt for the pressure from the lenders they would never happen!!!

  4. It was a real treat meeting George in Philly. It’s easy to see why he’s been successful in work and in life.

    1. Treat was mine. Thanks for the kind words.
Successful in blogging? Well, not by Alexa rankings woohoo.
I am still here after four years and more than 10 people (not including family) read me so I call this #winning 🙂
