TBB is evolving again. Posts will be shorter so I need to be even more eclectic. I must say there is not much that is exciting in the miles/points world lately…and there are a gazillion blogs repeating the same “news”. Brace for an onslaught the rest of the month for the Amex Small Business Saturday promotion. And blog buzzing will not involve the Blogs in the Ignore list…getting a bit tired of the same beatings, perhaps it is time to just Ignore them for real! Unless something surpasses my WTF tolerance #developing. Really, the reason is there has been a very welcome development in my real job which is attributed to my writing which, in turn, I attribute to me finally putting myself out there by just writing for this blog! Amazing what things can happen when you “let go” as my therapist used to say lol.
For the record, after redeeming Barclay Arrival points for my stay at the Kimpton Firesky resort for the #WestCoastDO, yesterday’s totally miraculous 25k Delta Skymiles award Detroit to San Diego RT and finally burning 28,000 Starwood SPG points for four nights at the Four Points by Sheraton in San Diego downtown my tally for burning this year is now up to 946,554. I am aiming to surpass 1 million in miles/points burning in 2014! No toasters were burned in this either!

Never got to the mall…it’s been a whole week now I have not met the min spend on a card. That has NEVER happened before…a whole week….losing it. Tomorrow is it, I will not be stopped!
Just had a hillarious idea for TBBT (the Big Bang theory) tv show.
The group wants to go to NYC for some comic thing, but find their bank accounts frozen. They have a month to earn enough points and miles to be able to go on the trip.
Can you imagine Sheldon trying to MS or Raj trying to group everyone’s hotel loyatly cards together? Hillarious! 🙂
