A short post for Saturday. Need to catch up on some things, including needing time to recover from being called a liar. WTF!

Marvin Goldman, flying with El Al since 1978, has an incredible collection of over 40,000 items from the airline. He keeps them all in his apartment and plans to open as a museum in the future. Fascinating to see how things have changed over the decades…

In the late '60s, airlines started introducing bright and colorful uniforms. "It was a period of optimism, with Russia and the US having gone to the moon," Goldman said. This was also the era of the miniskirt, and uniforms became much more flashy.

    Just saw it, RIP Ali so out of respect it was a good move then.

    Talking about buzzing, my right ear has been buzzing me for a while. Two doc visits prescribing crap antibiotics and steroids has done nada so seeing an ear specialist Monday. Maybe I spend too much buzzing here and it has channeled to my ear! With trips coming up, arrghh!

  4. In one of his most unusual posts, Gary Leff reports that a passenger was pulled off a plane for taking pictures of a flight attendant’s buttocks. No photos or video, however.

    That was indeed an unusual post. Even Gary couldn’t figure out a way to get a link in there.

        Oh Ramsey, don’t shoot me tomorrow, I did it again. OMG, that’s it, you will not forgive me. I have no idea how this got through quality control man! I think it is my buzzing ear, not thinking straight lately. Oh man, I am busted big time…

  6. Was it a male or female flight attendant’s buttocks?

    On a related note, I imagine the word ‘butt’ derived from buttocks. But what about the phrase ‘butt-out’? Also, should ‘butt-out’ be hyphenated?
