Looks like my Fairmont Lifetime Platinum Status is safe for the next year before Accor “enhances” it. In for another $100 for dining and a suite upgrade, sweet!

Son flew to NYC with my British Airways Avios. Told him about the art of bumping. Texted me “I am first on volunteer list”. Proud Dad moment! πŸ™‚

  1. Bronze… Again!
“The TBB is strong in this one… ” now if you can have your son post some affiliate links on his dorm door for all his friends to use!

    1. Congrats to the medal winners once again

@MrNice: I am strong in what? I will never blatantly market weapons of debt destruction to college students to ruin them for life. And this is why my “conversions” suck and will never be offered direct links to get Titanized. And I am just fine with that!

Thanks to the reader who got the SPG Amex card!

  2. Slow day in the comments section. People must be taking off Texas Independence Day to celebrate Cruz

  3. “Well, a little surprised to see Prague and Dublin.”

No surprise for Ireland…it was first country in world to legalize gay marriage countrywide.

    1. P.S. I bet you are glad Amazon now requires $49 for free shipping versus the $35 in the past. That means you made 0.12 versus 0.11 thanks to me this week?

P.P.S. When you get a referral bonus (like for the Chase cards I signed up for via your creditcards.com link) how long until you get notified? Chase has got me in limbo–which I think means “no”—but maybe you know better than me??? #WishfulThinking

    2. I certainly did not know that about Dublin. I thought, you know, Catholics and all, they were nowhere near the Top 10.

Thanks for the Amazoon, was a good day yesterday, went to a local Indian fast food place, the Tika Massala sucked but the mamosas were awesome. I had to pay for the Mamosas and 1/3 of the TM dish but hey, much better than a coffee at Panera (small) lol.

The cc notifications are all over the place. If instant approval, it could be from a few days to a week. If not instant approval….it can range from 10 days and once almost a month! I think sometimes, if not instant approval, it just…gets “lost” somehow (did not “track properly”….which is BS excuse). I would rather not say more, may save it for the email to subscribers πŸ™‚

      1. at least you are getting clicks which brings down the cost of Cheerios; one cheerio at a time! πŸ™‚
