Regarding Tunguska, here’s Wikipedia: “The 15 megaton (Mt) derived estimate is an energy about 1,000 times greater than that of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan; roughly equal to that of the United States’ Castle Bravo (15.2 Mt) ground-based thermonuclear test detonation on 1 March 1954; and about one-third that of the Soviet Union’s later Tsar Bomba (at 50 Mt the largest nuclear weapon ever detonated).”

  2. I always worry that for me the hotel front-desk monitors show a message something like, “He’s a platinum, but all his stays in the last two years have been award stays, so you don’t have to try too hard” or something like that.

    1. Or, he’s a diamond, but has never actually stayed with us, wtf? Put him between the housekeeping closet and elevator as far away as possible from anything worth seeing.

    1. she’s nice to look at. he can’t even win popularity contests against other bloggers so he has no chance to win one against her. he’s more overpaid. at least she has a pair of positive features.

  4. Made my prime day purchase through your link …. nagging works (sometimes)! What do you make on a $200 purchase? A coffee? Half coffee?

I don’t comment often but I do read everything (I think I found your blog when it was about three or four months old) and look forward to your posts
