Hotel Hustle, FREE click-bait blog headlines, All Lionel Messi Goals in Champions League

Blog posts will be MUCH smaller due to the holidays and upcoming trip to Hong Kong. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving holiday. When I first came to the United States I thought this was just a weird holiday. After being here so long…it has become my favorite. THANK YOU to everyone who reads what I type, you are all my “friends and family” 🙂

There is a new hotel searching tool out titled Hotel Hustle. It was announced in this blog post at the Wandering Aramean. I think it has the potential to be a killer app and it is the most exciting development since…Award Mapper 🙂  Needs to be polished before it is ready for prime time. But looking at the rate and points side by side is, well, awesome! I have no data to back this up, I am just making it up and clearly my integrity is questionable hehe. #rolleyes

A hilarious thread in FlyerTalk: Five Types of Blog Posts Not To Click On

74 Goals, new record: All Lionel Messi Goals In Champions League Enjoy them all, this guy is a freak of nature!

    1. Happy Turkey Day everyone! Today, I am giving thanks to TBB being here every morning to brighten my day……………………To Sterling Traveler……. I was just checking out your web site and came across your interview with a Flight Attendant. No offense, but it is boring and inaccurate. You asked her “what is the hardest part of your job?” and she answers “eating right”. WTF… That would be #11,988 on my list……………wrong answer and boring. Answer is cleaning up vomit when someone goes crazy puking up all over the place like in The Exorcist. Unwritten rule of the skies, first F/A to come across this situation is stuck cleaning it up, while the rest run away as far as possible. If you want a juicy F/A interview of all the crazy good, bad, sexy and weird stuff, including naming celebrities, interview me, I’ve got volumes of it.

      1. So you’re blaming me because that’s the answer she gave me and you think she’s wrong? She’s a friend of mine and I know for a fact that she hasn’t had to deal with vomit (yet) so perhaps that’s why she didn’t say that is the hardest part of her job. Thank you very much for the feedback though – I always appreciate it.

        1. Sterling Traveler lighten up, I am just having fun with you. So very sorry, guess you did not realize it. Oy Vey are we sensitive? BTW I am SOOOOO glad you appreciate my feedback because I look forward to giving you lots of it in the future.

        2. Congrats to SterlingTraveler for being First and being an all around great guy!

Ramsey is always welcome to write a “Top 5 Crazy Things I Encountered as a FA” and I will post it here…

TBB is primarily about entertainment! And so is Ramsey!

          And da Bears suck!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, George, and to all the folks I “know” from the comments here. To those on the move, travel safely, and wherever you are, enjoy the holiday!

  2. Even though I comment rarely, I have read every post. Happy Thnaksgiving and safe travels to all.

  3. I see so many posts today about thanking others but no blogger has come out and say “thank you” to any bank!

Sooooo…I want to take a minute and thank Jeff Bezos and Amazon. Without you this blog would not be a real business and lead me to many many miles from business credit cards.

    Keeping it real 🙂

Thanks everyone. Got two dinners on tap today and will atone at the gym tomorrow for my sins hehe.

And get your Amex cards ready for Saturday!

Next time I post I may be in a turkey induced comatose state…

  4. Thank you, TBB, for all you do!!!! <–four exclamation points

I want to challenge all your faithful readers to find a way to give back to you between now and the end of year. You have a lot of fun—it's obvious—but you also put up with a lot of crap from people who don't like how you call it like you see it.

I'm thinking that there must be a few easy ways to give back to you without costing us anything at all. And I mean we click on your link and it is the best deal out there. Examples include card refer-a-friend bonus (unless we refer a spouse, it is a no brainer to support you like this), your Amazon links (ain't gonna get any cheaper if we bypass you), your first-time uber user link, and the few cards on your list that are (1) truly worth getting and (2) there are no better deals out there. There may be more.

Okay, I'm too lazy to put together such a list but I would definitely try to throw you a bone if I could.

Thanks again, TBB, for your hard work and congrats on two years!!!!! <–five !'s

    1. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. The cc ilnk “performance” has been stuck at “First” which is wildly surprising so it will likely be gone at this rate before the new year rolls in. I am really thankful for Bezos and Amazon. I am having a hard time putting up with the Uber business practices and have not pimped it in a long time. I need BOP (Best Offers Patrol) to get back and do those posts again.
This is all a work in progress, point is to entertain…primarily myself 🙂
After the obligatory nap we are off to Dinner #2.
And it all tastes even better after the Lions stuffed Da Bears!
      Thank you.

  5. George – Happy thanksgiving and hope the napping has given you the strength to get through all the weekend’s click bait without, well, clicking.

We have just been through Hong Kong and I would seriously recommend a stop at Tim Ho Wan for dim sum. The baked BBQ pork bao are pretty much the best dim sum I’ve ever had. And for stupid cheap. The rest of the menu was perfectly fine, but the buns…seriously great. Enjoy!
