I am working on a mega rant how bloggers have been selling the new Amex Hilton cards. It is already long and it is only going to get longer. Hang in there, it will be entertaining. You won’t believe what these bloggers will do to sell plastic, it will shock you!

In Mexico, the world’s biggest underwater cave was discovered. Amazing!

Namibia takes Trump’s shithole comment to new tourism advertising highs.

The 29 Stages of a Twitterstorm in 2018. This is superb LOL material!

The most dangerous bridge is in Siberia. The videos are CRAZY!

Never heard of Jerusalem syndrome, Jeeeesus! British tourist missing in Israel may have Jerusalem syndrome.

Yet another post from North Korea:  Hot chicks, cold noodles and a rocket haircut in North Korea.

Getting a little bit too scientific for my taste but still very helpful: Towards sustainability:Taking a “liquidation first” approach.

Two excellent award booking posts at Seat 31B:

How I Booked The Industry’s Best “Sweet Spot” Award Flight

Adventures With LifeMiles: South African Airways and United Business Class

So, DansDeals comes out with a great post about amazing award space on Polaris seats to Tel Aviv. Less than an hour later View From The Wing posts about the same deal….and at the very end of the post where most readers never get to or just miss is the HT…So, 99% of them think the guy is amazing and such a travel thought leader and the 1% was there looking for some nasty videos involving a bodily function #yawn

And I leave you with this…How TBB is monetizing the blog, lol.

  1. Dan hat tips in an even more disingenuous way. Things get posted from other blogs in his forum and he hat tips his own forum and always at the bottom. He probably posts them himself in his forum so he can credit himself. TPG wrote about the Tel Aviv award space with no hat tip at all. Shocking (not).

    1. Yeah there are, surprisingly, Mennonites on every continent (well, except Antarctica!). I didn’t know until I saw some documentary a few years ago.

A lot of variety among Mennonite groups, some are fairly “modern” and while others aren’t. My great-grandfather was a Methodist minister (late 19th century-early 20th century) but for a time preached at a Mennonite church. That particular congregation didn’t believe in using music in church which, according to my grandpa, his father didn’t care for as he was very musical.

  2. Good Seat 31B posts. I need to read more of his stuff.

Must have the cheetah kittens! Not sure what I’d do after they’re no longer kittens though!

  3. @ DML: You won’t believe what happens next…

@ Oliver2002: Let me know when you find it!

@ A blogger’s dream: Oh yes yes yes. Do this every day everyone, gracias!

@ Ryan: Certainly a factor. Then again, he is probably a climate denier like the dude he voted for. And good info on the Mennonites! Seat 31B knows his stuff but does not post much, too busy working on startups. Do not hold on to them kittens for too long.

@ Covfefe: Good arguments. But there is a difference: DD is not in the TBB Blogs to Ignore list as the other two are. Do you know when we know a deal is dead? It is when TPG finally posts about it!

@ Nick: Enjoy Nicaragua, say hi to the Amish. If you want.

@ Mileage Update: You checked out the North Korea post because of the “hot chicks” mentioned in the headline right? I did!

All of the above were made in a joking manner…okay?

Mondays suck…how do I make a post tomorrow?

  4. Jerusalem syndrome is definitely a thing! I’ve seen people a couple of times with “it”. The police seem to let it go on for a bit before they pull them, possibly because of the potential for some riot type things depending on where they are.
