All the “Blog Buzz” related action will be near the bottom of my Buzz posts. I would like to keep it positive on the top ๐Ÿ™‚

PointsCentric with his thoughts on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. I pretty much agree on everything. I am not planning to reduce my credit lines. I have given up on becoming a Chase Private Client as they want to manage my money, no thanks! And brace for the most ridiculous pumping by the Chase blogger/sales reps that this space has ever seen as soon as they get their hands on the affiliate links for this baby! When they do, it will be totally pathetic for them to keep selling the Amex Platinum (for only 40k, burn inย  hell!) and Citi Prestige cards but this won’t stop them. EVERY cc click matters to them = more dinero! Say NO, choose a blogger who does not pump you to oblivion! Together we can move mountains. Or whatever…And don’t forget to click on the final link in the PC link to understand that this has absolutely nothing to do with helping family and friends travel for free!

Register for the latest Accelerate promotion from IHG Rewards, another one of the recent Accelerate type offers. Mine were all crap and it appears to me these are getting worse.

Corporate Travel is Bracing for the Impact of the Marriott-Starwood Merger. Not only corporate travel but points aficionados too! Author is way too optimistic about the loyalty aspect of the merger. I am not. Because.Marriott.

Best Airports in Asia. If you did not guess that Singapore Changi airport was number 1, you are probably new in this hobby so may I suggest you get the Chase Sapphire Preferred card with my links? Woohoo!

Here is how Stefan is going to handle the Citibank restriction. Executive card, cough. If only I had the direct link to smoothly insert it right here while pretending I am doing this for friends and family lol.

Holy crap, how angry bloggers and readers get! And then you are calling meeee angry, WTF! Before you ask where I stand on these things, here is my response to that. Lets move on.

And just when you thought pumping bloggers were about to run out of reasons to push more plastic…

This is dedication to the sales craft folks, how many days in a row is this business trying to shove this card down readers’ throats?

Update: My condolences to Ford and Ben for your loss.

And I leave you with this…You are selling the 40k Amex Platinum and the Citi Prestige NOW? TBB does not support violence…TBB is a lover, not a fighter, woohoo!

  1. Ben and Ford lost something? Dude, dont make me click on one of the Forbidden Links!

    1. Got some issues that have much higher priority suddenly…

Anonymous: Learned in FT that Ford’s father passed away.

  2. So this could obviously still go in any direction, but I was talking to a Marriott IT employee yesterday who believed that the integration would start in a year, that there would be a length of time (she thought another year) where all properties would earn Marriott points. During that time you could convert (at some ratio) starpoints to book properties, but they’ll still maintain the current attributes of the starpoints like being able to transfer out to airlines. Basically, they’ll make the conversion ratio known and not force them initially. I’m not sure if this has been addressed in any other blog, but I trust this woman’s information.

    1. Also, I was going to apply for the Citi Hilton card 75k offer from your link and it didn’t hit a landing page. I’m waiting until the CSR comes out to get another Citi card (either the hilton at 75k or the AA at 50k). Anyway, you may want to look into that.

      1. I let them know about it. I tried too, same result. I got excited there for a second after seeing someone clicked on the card three times ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s probably one of the Titans phucking with me. For revenge ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for trying, I appreciate it!

I predict Chase’s servers choke when the CSR app goes live!

  3. The author of the Luanda piece ran an excellent blog on Portuguese-language music called Caipirinha Lounge.

    1. You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it’s me, I’m a little fucked up maybe, but I’m funny how, I mean funny like I’m a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I’m here to fuckin’ amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?

  4. The Blowhard and his low information supporters think the US military is weak…and that we need to waste even greater amounts of money than we already do on creating more terrorists thru our inept military escapades. smh.

I don’t agree with free anything, but subsidised tuition in exchange for some sort of public service (military/police/peace corps) makes sense. But only for STEM majors. We already have way too many useless liberal arts majors sucking on the teat of the productive class – if they want to “study” such useless crap, let them pay for it.
