I have given up on becoming a Chase Private Client as they want to manage my money, no thanks! And brace for the most ridiculous pumping by the Chase blogger/sales reps that this space has ever seen as soon as they get their hands on the affiliate links for this baby! When they do, it will be totally pathetic for them to keep selling the Amex Platinum (for only 40k, burn in hell!) and Citi Prestige cards but this won’t stop them. EVERY cc click matters to them = more dinero! Say NO, choose a blogger who does not pump you to oblivion! Together we can move mountains. So this could obviously still go in any direction, but I was talking to a Marriott IT employee yesterday who believed that the integration would start in a year, that there would be a length of time (she thought another year) where all properties would earn Marriott points. During that time you could convert (at some ratio) starpoints to book properties, but they’ll still maintain the current attributes of the starpoints like being able to transfer out to airlines. Basically, they’ll make the conversion ratio known and not force them initially. I’m not sure if this has been addressed in any other blog, but I trust this woman’s information.
Also, I was going to apply for the Citi Hilton card 75k offer from your link and it didn’t hit a landing page. I’m waiting until the CSR comes out to get another Citi card (either the hilton at 75k or the AA at 50k). Anyway, you may want to look into that.
I let them know about it. I tried too, same result. I got excited there for a second after seeing someone clicked on the card three times 🙂

I don’t agree with free anything, but subsidised tuition in exchange for some sort of public service (military/police/peace corps) makes sense. But only for STEM majors.
