   Seeking suggestions for an off-the-beaten-path city in the U.S.A. to visit for a weekend. Somewhere that could be an interesting destination for a day-and-a-half or so…not far from a major airport and easily maneuverable in winter weather would be pluses. Ideas?

   4. Carl’s post made me think of the Hocking Hills area in southern Ohio, south of Chillicothe. It’s a gorgeous spot. In winter with snow and icicles it looks really pretty among the caves and such…though if it’s a plain, dreary winter day with no snow, might not be that much fun. Plenty of nice cabins to rent – many with fireplaces. You can do some hiking and then cozy up to the fire with drinks.

5. Very angry at Hertz.

   Rented a car in Greece. Booked on the Hertz website in my account. No credits/points after a week so I contacted them on Twitter only to be told that “that location does not participate in the program” and that they are very sorry for the inconvenience. That is just phucked up!!! No warnings ever came up while booking it at all….Thieves!

   1. It wasn’t the Thessaloniki one, was it? I always get points and credits from them (plus always make sure you book through Aegean – even in the US sometimes – for more savings!).

   That Live & Let’s Fly tool is still tilting at the Aeroplan/SWISS windmill. Bought cash one-way F tickets so he can *really* stick it to LX supposedly. lmao SWISS and Aeroplan are going to tell him to pound sand and I think it’s hilarious. Oh wait, I forgot, he’s doing this for the consumers – for us, mind you.

9. The Hyatt credit card is now available with $$$ affiliate links you guys!

   VFTW and OMAAT had posts selling it almost within minutes of each other. I still say they use the same ghost writer. Any BA insiders with a tip? DeepThroat?

   I now need to change my BestOffersPatrol and add the Hyatt card. Yesterday the CSR was added. The future is so bright I gotta wear shades. Every time a reader gets a card here all I can think of is Ingy’s face demeaning itself even more 🙂

10. I am going to kick my husband RAMSEY in the jewels when he gets home. He let one of our kids SWA accounts go inactive for 25 months and they took away all the miles.
    No sex for him tonight. I wish he would stop spending to much time here making a jackass of himself everyday.
