  1. George,

MP is a spectacular place to visit. In my haste to plan that trip, along with EZE, Mendoza, and Cusco/Cuzco, we should have spent a week in the Sacred Valley area. Lots to do. 4 days was not enough.

    1. Hear, hear! One does need a week in the area, and more to explore Cuzco. And must stay at that amazing SPG property in Urubamba, what’s its name again? #lazy

  2. Okay Buzz I learned from the BEST, YOU!!!

Reading your blog daily instead of the bible for the last 3 years has made me what I am today.

    THANK YOU BUZZ!!

Now I can spot a phony baloney blogger now in just a few words…….Since you are now a kinder gentler blogger (who could forget your blogs calling out Delta Points and Milevalue, they were awesomely classic rants, dude), I sometime feel the need to write something some would consider obnoxious (okay almost everyone) and others would say brilliant (thanks Mom).

Devils Advocate…I know he helped you with some ticketing recently, so you like him more than me. That’s O.K. I will try to get over it by increasing my daily dosage of Zoloft…..But I feel he is a young Gleff in the making. His post yesterday on Amex Plat $200 credit and his bold prediction coming true is just regurgitating what he read (just like the rest of us recent Amex Plat folks) on Flyertalk and Reddit. Almost verbatim! Now he is patting himself on the back for predicting the future in ink. Gleff Like if you ask me……………………..BTW my stock market predictions last week….spot on.

I will carry on the mantle of classic TBB and bust balls as I see fit if that’s ok you. I miss the old TBB days, come back to the dark side Buzz. It’s good for your Alexa ratings, I read that NoobTraveler just went past you. WTF.

      1. They have $15 off $35? I assume it’s a first-time purchase bonus. Are you creating new accounts every time for this?

    1. Gracias Senor Enrico

I really miss those angry rant type of days. But it was getting too much man, my health was being affected…it was relenteless….i needed to cut them off. Life is indeed brighter without them. I know I am not missing much at all. They like it too. We move on.

Devil guy writes very well, I really like his writing. He does cover stuff you do not see in any other blogs. Notice I did not say fT or Reddit πŸ™‚

I miss the old TBB days….when I am super bored, I click on a random old TBB post and just laugh out loud…”did I really say that?” kind of laughs….My grandkids will be reading them one day and do high fives!

  3. One HUGE white elephant about location-independence, no one wants to talk about is how hard it is to work on the road. When you’re traveling full time without rushing from place to place, it’s OK, I guess. But when not, or when you hop from one city or country to another, it sucks! You have to make a choice between seeing a sight and sitting in your hotel room in front of the laptop. It’s a hard choice. Or between a beer/cocktail and mineral water. Even harder. πŸ™‚

In all seriousness, you do lose money when you travel, even if your flights and hotels are free. And it’s not the food or booze, it’s that you’re less productive. At least, this is how it is for a freelancer — it can be different when you have a blog or two that double as your personal ATM. πŸ™‚ #envyagain
