A Collection of All Non TBB Buzz Posts in One Place – Travel Hacking, Trip Reports, Personal Finance, Humor

What I do here is keep you in the loop of the most important stuff I find around the web on miles and points, travel, personal finance, technology, photography, humor and whatever eclectic stuff that comes my way. I also keep advanced hobbyists and veteran blog readers informed about the latest happenings in the crazy world of miles and points in my now infamous Blog Buzz section. That usually happens on Mondays and Fridays in posts I like to call Buzz posts.

On Sundays I bring you the Best of the Web posts that have five or six links that just blew my mind. On Wednesdays I would like to…catch my breath a little bit and will do odd stuff. Including reposts. Guest blogger posts. My monthly blog support post. Some Wednesdays I may do a Buzz post here if the backlog gets way too long. Each posts ends with a funny gif/pic.

I also keep a page with original content over the past six plus years I have been whining here. Sorry, I meant blogging lol.

And for the thousands of readers who have come aboard the TBB train…it is time to remind you about all these rare gems to keep you educated, entertained and inspired. In that order! Thousands=Tens.

Ask not what you can do for your mother in law, ask why your mother in law is not reading TBB!

Okay, here is the funny pic/gif and enjoy all the posts below. I do enjoy blogging here…otherwise, I would have stopped years ago. But sometimes I wonder about my sanity lol.

Evangelical hate mail, bring it on!

  1. And in really big news, Drew announces he’s back to blogging full-time.

    For now.

And no action on the derivation of the term ‘barrel-assing’. I did learn that there is not only a verb ‘to barrel-ass’, but also a noun ‘a barrel ass’. I think I know the noun’s derivation.

      1. It’s the blogger DoC says we should support and gives him a backlink. Still waiting for mine lol.

DoC also gives backlink to another blogger who wrote about influencers while she writes for and collects a paycheck from the # said influencer.

Attending a seminar on how to prevent elder abuse this morning. Speaker is the prosecuting attorney who prosecutes these cases. Some wild stories, be careful out there!

Got enough material for Friday Buzz post now…it will only get longer/better. Lots of eclectic stuff and so many blogger moves!

          1. Travel Is Free posted today, Gleff is the first to comment, interesting….The Gravatar of Gleff is hysterical, this guy thinks he looks like George Clooney, so delusional, too bad he can’t photo shop himself in real life. His not intentionally funny gravatar made me think how much I miss my wacky brother Ramsey.

            1. Dear Barron or whoever the hell you are, I find your post highly insulting and insensitive. We live in a different time and you should be careful of what you say about people, remember we are all not perfect. Click on my name for more response.

            2. Any new good places to eat, Ramsey?

After being out of town for a month, I had to hit my favorite when I got back: Pho House. Egg noodle soup is the bomb.

  2. Bronze! For the Pacific Northwest!

WOW! Whatta list! You been busy, George!

  3. Just 2 conversions this month.

By far the most disheartening aspect of having a blog!

Looks like it will be the second month in a row I fail to get 10. Just for pride damnit!

I need to talk to Mile Nerd to see how he is doing. Maybe he motivates me to…retire.

In other news, I went running at my fav park and ran 7 miles in personal best time. By just 2.15 mins but hey…I’ll take it!

I have Friday draft post in already…I could post it now and is already larger than usual and pretty darn good I must say. More blogger moves. I reveal the business strategy behind TPG. And some amazing links! For you…for free…and when the guest bloggers start…out of my pocket #losing

As long as you are Educated.Entertained.Inspired the world is a better place.

I need to take a shower next 🙂

  4. Buzz-

Around 1pm today, our landline rang and, in a nod to hope over experience, I answered.

    Me: Hello.

    Caller: Hi grandpa

    Me: Who is this?

    Caller: Your oldest grandson.

    Me: What’s your name?

    Caller: It’s your oldest grandson.

    Me: What’s your name?

    Caller: (Silence).

    Me: Game’s over (hang up).

    1. Lol, seriously?

Attended an elderly abuse seminar. Speaker had some really wild stories, wow. Be careful out there. This is for elder Rams and Ingy, not you Sam 😉

  5. Seriously.

If you fall for this, the caller says he (or she) went to (pick a faraway place) to help a friend. They got pulled over and they need money for bail. So, grandpa, go buy some gift cards and read me the numbers so I can get out of jail.

I was tempted to continue the conversation to find out where these guys offload GCs, since I’m about tapped on on that here in Colorado.
