The White Darkness

This is one of the most amazing stories I have read recently. You will learn a lot about polar exploration, I sure did. What drives some humans to keep going? You will be blown away by this masterpiece. Take some time out of your day to get awed and inspired. The ending is very emotional, you have been warned.

The Search for Jackie Wallace

Another mind blowing story about an addict who played in three Super Bowls. How he lost everything, hit rock bottom, was saved by a reporter, got his life back together and then how it came crashing down again, only to come back up again and, well, you know the pattern by now. I admire people who fought addiction and beat the disease. We have been fighting this through enforcement for so many decades with no benefits that is so ridiculous to keep focusing on it. Okay, that was my anti Trump dig. Because it is my blog and I can 🙂

You have heard stories like Jackie Wallace, you may even know somebody like him. Heck, you may even have one in your own family. Sometimes, you can only do so much…

Warning: This is a very sad story. And a testament to how you can influence lives with what you do. It’s not always about conversions you know!

How to Have a Better Relationship

If you are interested in the subject, this is probably one of the best guides how to do so. I have no doubt it will help you in your own relationship or when you have one! You can thank me later one day for saving it or making it rock. You are welcome in advance. TBB on!

It goes into: Love and romance, sex (with some amazing statistics!), staying faithful, conflict and how to make it last…not the conflict I mean!

12 Rules for Life

These come from a Bloomberg columnist who just turned 45 years old. And I really liked it so much I saved it to include here in a TBB Best of Web post. Which one is your favorite? Mine is #4 “Give yourself permission to be bad”. Oh yeah, now we are talking woohoo! All right, always be kind and grateful. And aim to save at least 25% of your income is great too, enjoy!

Skid Row Marathon

Thanks to the reader who sent this in to TBB World Headquarters (my basement). What an inspiring story this is! Talk about making a difference, just LOVE these stories. And I must see this documentary one day, the sooner the better. Must click. I know a few minutes later I am going to get hit with another photo of smiling Emily holding credit cards and I am going to get a little angry, grrrrrr 🙂

And here is a longer story about this guy and what he is doing!

Do you suffer from PAR*ENT*ING

This would not be a TBB post if we did not have something funny. Something to make you laugh. I am sick of all the commercials for drugs and the ridiculous side effects. There is a drug for everything these days, WTF! Well, now we have a drug for Parenting at last! LOLOLOLOLOL, enjoy!

And I am leaving you with the video above, no gif today.

Very creative skirting of the ‘Posting on 3 business days a week” rule. Sort of like ducking 5/24 with business cards.

    Sorta.

I’m no good with statistics. That article says 15% of men and 27% of women haven’t had sex in the last year. How do you make that add up? And is that a calendar year or a fiscal year?

  2. So many blogs, so many conversions left on the table for Ingy who sold too early. Not wanted back at FTG, only TBB keeping him relevant, what a sad legacy.

Hope you keep the Sunday best of web posts…great way to spend Sunday mornings…replacing reading Sundaynmorning newspapers

  3. I am so desperate to find a card that will let me still sign up for a bonus, any bonus…….I just signed up for the Disney card. #PatheticRamsey

Thanks to all the Titans from Credit Card Whore Island for ruining this hobby, just to line their own pockets.

Out of Application Options…..Thank A Titan.

          1. I have a lot of time to research b/c my basement is so dark I never know if it’s day or night… I was in the same place as Ramsey and then learned that the Citi 24 month rule is separate for personal vs. business products, so that enabled me to get the Citibusiness 60k bonus a lot sooner than I otherwise would have.

              1. Separate meaning you apply for a personal and then business a week later, and as long as you didn’t open or close those cards in the previous 24 months, you’d get the bonus again. Or so I’ve been led to believe from reading a variety of different sources…

  4. Hey George, can I save you a seat on the Brooklyn Reality Tour? Nothing like some honest talk to go with BRT. #soupandsandwich, #hapandmishap, #harryandSally#buzzandbloggers.
