Yesterday I introduced some of my Nicaraguan in-laws to Thanksgiving and a good time was had by all. They were flown up here with BA miles and will be flown back using AA miles.

Otto was a nothing burger for me — just another rainy day in Paradise. Not so for some communities in the far north of Costa Rica. Spent some time and a few greenbacks yesterday getting canned food and hygiene products together to send up. Lots of homeless folks today and they didn’t have much to begin with…
