Not much in the miles and points blogosphere over the weekend. I don’t do posts that do not adhere to the blog’s mission. And those include the following: weekly summaries own link fests, targeted posts, Jet Blue and Southwest sales posts, Amazon sales, “giveaways” of crap I can not pretend they are not crap because they can make me money, buy miles & points posts, killing deals, and of course credit card pumping posts. I mean, there are so many blogs that do these posts, you should not come here for these!

Wyndham is “enhancing” its credit cards so maybe you have time to get the 45k points one. I never had it…I know, I know…shocking!

You know it is pretty dead when the only miles/points related post I have for you is…the one above #sosad.

Hmmm, college 529 gift cards are coming you guys. For some reason…I see your hacking genes get excited about this 😉

Wifi passwords in airports. I could have made it a single post when I first saw it…but I only bother you once a day (no Saturdays). Until this schedule gets affected at some point #hint.

I live in the Dayton, OH suburbs and I’ve noticed very, very few yard signs for any Presidential candidate (but lots of yard signs for local races & issues) compared to every other Presidential election in the past 20 years that I’ve lived in this area. The handful I’ve seen are 90% Trump but again, almost none even for the Donald.

    Also for the past month or so, we’ve been bombarded with Hillary ads on primetime TV and have seen almost none for Trump.

    Make of all that what you will.

    1. You know…you are right. I don’t see many yard signs around either. I think we are all fed up with the status quo…and many will vote for Trump just for the hell of it/protest vote. Sad thing is…Greeks did the same thing and the clowns they elected proved to be even MUCH bigger clowns than the clowns before them…

      I hardly watch TV any more….But I did watch the debates. All else I watch is soccer, NBA playoffs, Detroit Lions, 60 Minutes, SNL and ESPN Sportscenter 🙂

  8. only election that is more of a farce than the presidential one is the vote for the 10Best travel blogs, where RP (FKA DP) is not only one of the finalists but was second when I last checked. Take that, you Tabloid Buzzard or whatever!

    1. That dude had once photoshopped a voting ballot to delete my name so I don’t get any votes. LOL. I don’t even go there anymore…I am allergic to that blog…It makes me sick…I am not kidding.
      That’s all these guys do…pump/promote/pump/promote….I don’t and…deep down, I like it 🙂
