Thanks for all the comments in my introspective post. Yes the post was cathartic indeed. The posts here will get shorter.  #developing #always #evolving. It would be so much easier to shut this baby down if you all told me my blog sucks you know. I used to referee high school soccer games before my son was born and what I miss the most is making parents angry hehe.

Post of the week goes to DansDeals with how to save money on hidden city ticketing. Required reading imho.

Amazing how a commercial site like MileCards can be commercial AND post good content. Like “How to cut surcharges & still fly British Airways with AAdvantage miles“. Proves you don’t have to be a credit card affiliate link mass pimping machine!

You can get up to $400 with two bank bonuses per this post by Doctor of Credit.

Travel Codex has an excellent follow up on my post about that Chris Elliott rant about travel rewards credit cards. I think it is a must read.

Input/Output. Awesome short film. Hard to describe. Art at its finest. I love movies, I watch less since I started TBB lol.

8 ways Vietnam welcomes gay travelers. Surprising based on the country’s political history. If only religious fanatics treated everyone with respect and love instead of trying to impose their own beliefs to “save” people who are different than them!

Fantastic post on investing: “Satisfying Your Activity Addiction“.

Respect to REI, it is closing all stores on Black Friday and telling everyone to go outside instead, yes!

Susan Shain got a job! I think many bloggers will be better served if they did the same thing. Keep evolving!

28 things everyone should do in Spain  Bookmark, awesome reference! Except the bull fighting thing, paying to watch humans murder animals is not cool.

Hike up Montserrat, a mountain with uniquely shaped rock pillars that were formed by rain, frost, and wind. Only 30 miles from Barcelona, it's a great day trip, and visitors can also stop by the historic benedictine monastery nestled right into the cliffs.

    1. Mondays can be really weird…it’s all the fun from the weekend and they all get hit when they get to work. Plus that time change threw them off. Sad because I thought this post was pretty darn good and kept up with impeccable standards 😉

  1. Monday’s used to be a great day to see whats new in the blogs….now it’s full of Amex Offer Updates……..Buzz, like you I am bored lately, (note to self) need to spend more computer time watching porn.

  2. George, thank you for bringing the world to this single place! I’ve learned so much since I discovered TBB earlier this year.

e.g., Didn’t know who Susan Shain was until today. She has a pretty interesting ‘travel resource’ page.

ps – I spent many years up in the UP. Love MI!

    1. Thank you so much for the kind words, very appreciated.

I hope Susan gets back to being happy. She deserves it.

UP is awesome. Sadly I only got us only up to the thumb this summer.

      1. Very sad story. Wish her the best in the new gig.

I’m proud to say I’ve gone beyond the thumb 🙂 Isle Royale is a necessary escape from the crazy miles & points world! The boat ride is an adventure in itself…

    1. Yeah I have read some of these newsletters. Definitely not impressed at all. If you spend any time in FT not much there for you. It appeals more to newbies flying warriors. I guess you can get a free issue and see for yourself.

  3. Lived in Spain for a year did 20 of the items on the list, its a great list. I would add a few, including some festivals and visiting Formentera if you are already in Ibiza.

Random question, your thoughts on bank bonuses? You link to articles on them but have never expressed your “buzz” on them. To me even working at a company that switching direct deposit is a click of the button, I will pass on the joy of the 1099int. Now some miles and funding with a cc…Oh Citi you got me there.

    1. You are very welcome and thank YOU for sharing your story.

      A2 is lovely as usual.

Son is a new freshman at UofM…and that’s kind of weird 🙂

      All the best to you!
