Nauru is so overweight since the island is so poor and remote, it’s impossible for people there to eat fresh food. Plus, the terrain on the island is rough and growing food at a larger scale is nearly impossible.
Basically, everything’s preserved and imported. Something to be learned if one wants to lose weight by this example.
